Chardonnay
2020

ORIGIN
This Elgin Chardonnay was harvested at 22.5 balling and fermented in oak and stainless steel. The wine was then aged for eight months, with the slightest intervention from the winemaker.

TASTING NOTES
Chardonnay is my favourite varietal as it is so variable in its many characteristics. My Cluster Series is medium-bodied Chardonnay with pale lemon yellow in the glass with a generous nose of citrus blossoms, honeysuckle, and orange zest. The aromas are followed by flavours of poached pear, hints of mandarin and honey. The finish is rich and smooth with a well-balanced acidity. Drink now or age for up to 5 years.

CABERNET SAUVIGNON
2018

ORIGIN
This Cabernet Sauvignon originates from 2 regions with the wine comprising 75% Stellenbosch grapes and 25% Paarl grapes.

TASTING NOTES
Some of the best Cabernets find their origins in Stellenbosch. Stellenbosch being cooler giving the wine body and fuller tannins. The wine’s colour has a youthful purple, and on the nose, there are lovely primary red fruits like blueberries and blackberry with a hint of anise. The pallet is clean and elegant with dark chocolate and cherry fruits. The tannins on the finish are very soft, making you think the wine is older than 2018. This wine can be enjoyed now and will age very well for the next 5 to 8 years.
